In 2004, I was invited to attend a research program in Japan. The program is called MEXT Researchers Exchange Program and it is sponsored by the Government of Japan. The topic of my research work was 'Library Automation System'. I was appointed in Media Information Library, Tokai Research Center, Ibaraki, Japan under the supervision of Mr. Yakonibu Mineo, Head, Circulation Group of the library. My formal education began in a primary school named Kajulia Government Primary School near my birthplace. I completed my secondary education from Shibpur Union High School. That school was also near to my birthplace. I acquired Secondary School Certificate (SSC) in 1990 appearing the exam held under Secondary and Higher Secondary Board of Education, Comilla. Then I came to Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh and got Secondary School Certificate (HSC) in 1992 appearing an exam held under Secondary and Higher Secondary Board of Education, Dhaka. In 1993, I got admission in University of Dhaka at the Department of Library & Information Science (the department has been renamed as Department of Information Science & Library Management). I appeared Bachelor of Arts (Honors) exam of 1995 in 1996 (because of session jam) and I was awarded Bachelor of Arts (honors) Degree in 1997. From the same university and same department I appeared Masters of Arts exam of 1996 in 1998 and I was awarded Masters of Arts Degree in 1999. After that I carried out my informal education in computer science under some expert relatives and learned many things on computer including compiling of computer, graphics designing, webpage designing and programming with Visual Basic 6.

Personal Information

I am Md. Saifuddin Molla, Documentation Officer, SAARC Meteorological Research Centre. My father's name is Abdul Wahab (late) and my mother's name is Mrs. Hazera Wahab. I was born in September 16, 1975 at my village Saharper under Nabinagar upa-zilla and Brahmanbaria district in Bangladesh.

Saharper is a nice village having a lake in its center. I spent my boyhood in this village. At that time, the huge fields around the village were my playgrounds, the lake of the village was my swimming pool and the village environment was my university. I learnt cultivation, fishing, climbing trees, walking for long time, driving bicycle, swimming and many other important things for life from there. I loved my village and the simplicity of its people.

The natural beauty of my village made me a tiny poet. I wrote many poems at that time. I am a literature and culture loving man from that time. I also like traveling, reading book, listening music and sharing knowledge and experiences with others. I am 173 cm in height having a sound health and slim figure. I am hardworking, cooperating and very friendly with others.
